This is a clinical department of vascular surgery in the Adelaide & Meath Hospital Dublin incorporating the National Children's Hospital.  AMNCH is a university teaching hospital affiliated to Trinity College Dublin  and is also approved for postgraduate training in surgery by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland

Vascular surgery is a specialty of surgery in which diseases of the vascular system (arteries or veins) are managed by medical therapy, minimally-invasive catheter (endovascular) procedures, and surgical reconstruction. The specialty evolved from general and cardiac surgery. The vascular surgeon is trained in the diagnosis and management of diseases affecting all parts of the vascular system except that of the heart and brain.
